One address, for everything.

contact@silentfailapp.com

Email is the only channel

There is no phone number, no live chat and no support portal, because there is no support team. Silent Fail is built and run by one person, and email is the only way through. Anything else on a contact page would be a queue with nobody behind it.

Replies come from the person who wrote the code, which is the upside of the same arrangement: a question about why an alert fired at a particular minute reaches someone who can read the row that caused it.

If a monitor did something you did not expect

The most useful thing you can include is the monitor’s name and roughly when it happened. Every alert is recorded with its timestamp, the address it went to and whether delivery succeeded, so a name and a rough time is usually enough to find the exact record and tell you what the checker saw.

Worth checking first: an alert that never arrived is more often a spam filter than a missing alert, and the monitor’s own page shows whether we sent one.

Billing

Payments are handled by Paddle, which is the merchant of record for every subscription. Invoices, receipts and card details are theirs, not ours, so a request for a copy of an invoice or a refund is quickest through the link on the receipt Paddle emailed you.

If that goes nowhere, write to the address above anyway. Getting stuck between two companies is not your problem to solve.

Security reports

Same address, and please do write. If you have found something that lets one account reach another account’s data, or a way to make an alert go somewhere it should not, that is worth interrupting anything else for.

A short description of what you did and what you saw is more useful than a scanner report. There is no bug bounty programme — that is a promise about money this product is not yet in a position to keep — but you will get a straight answer about whether it is real and when it is fixed.
